This week’s featured guest LaDawn Jones is a wife, mother, lawyer, entrepreneur, political commentator and former Georgia State Representative. Jones shares her story of balancing it all and how being an elected official can be just one of many ways to serve your community.
Meet LaDawn:
LaDawn Jones graduated from Tennessee State University in 2002 with a B.A. in English and Tulane Law School in 2005. She worked for the Fulton County District Attorney’s office as Chief Senior Assistant District Attorney and is married with two children Lyndon and Brendon. Jones opened the LBJ Group, LLC a criminal defense law firm. She served as State Representative for Georgia House District 62 in the Georgia General Assembly and has written two books, “Manipulation” and “Cheating But Not Cheated: A Memoir of the Atlanta Public Schools Cheating Scandal.” LaDawn also served as the Georgia State Director for the Bernie Sanders 2016 presidential campaign.
