Recently elected to represent Kentucky’s 41st District, Attica Scott made history becoming the first black woman elected to the Kentucky Legislature in 20 years beating a 34 year incumbent. Meet Attica:
Attica Scott is State Representative Elect for Kentucky House District 41. She is a graduate of the first class of Emerge Kentucky which prepares democratic women to run for office. She was recognized as a Connector by Leadership Louisville as a civic and non-profit community leader who is making a difference in the region. Attica provides leadership to a number of non-profit boards of directors including La Casita Center, King Center, Board of Fellows of the Women’s Network Commonwealth Institute for Policy Issues and Civic Engagement, and New Directions Housing Corporation.
